SG und DGSF present their internet platform systemisch-forschen.de
(Berlin, July 23rd, 2009). Systemische Gesellschaft (systemic association, SG) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Systemische Familientherapie (German association for systemic family therapy, DGSF) are presenting a common innovative project in German-speaking countries: the internet platform systemisch-forschen.de which is available under the same address.
The platform is designed for scientists, students and trainees who are interested in systemic research and whose main fields of work are e.g. psychotherapy (psychosomatics, psychiatry, systemic medicine), corporate consulting services (corporate development, coaching) or social work (social and education pedagogy, youth welfare).
The addressed target group is supported by an online manual that gives advice for planning, implementing and finnishing systemic research projects. People who are interested in systemic research are invited to place texts.
There is a forum where issues such as "What can be considered as systemic research?" and "Which methods and questions are especially suited for systemic research or which ones can be developed?" can be discussed. The forum particularly focuses on how projects can be financed and implemented.
Based on the Wikipedia model, contributions are consistently enhanced. Drafts, suggestions and modification proposals can anytime be added.
Furthermore, the internet platform offers a network service bringing together university professors and scientists with students and practicians who are looking for suitable research topics for their final paper or further training, as e.g. Diploma, Master or Phd thesis. The offer is rounded out by a research newsletter.
The presidents of the systemic associations, Dr. med. Cornelia Oestereich and Prof. Dr. Jochen Schweitzer, agree: "The time is right for this new and unique online project in German-speaking countries. With the internet platform, we want to encourage and challenge scientists to discuss systemic questions." The initiators? aim is to bring together the existing demand for systemic research projects and available offers.
The platform is edited by Dr. Dipl. Psych. Matthias Ochs, systemic researcher and family therapist: "Our aim is to suggest research projects especially for future scientists and practioners. We want to combine theory and practice and increase each other?s use."
The internet platform is systemically designed and shall be developed by the users (up to now the supply is only in German).
