Studies and teaching

From 3 to 28 June 2013, German and international students will be dealing with key areas of European Business Law at EBS Law Summer. The certificate programme taught entirely in English takes place on EBS Universität's Wiesbaden campus and starts with a one-week intensive course on the law of the European Union. Students then choose from 6 different electives, including European Commercial Arbitration, EU Financial Regulation and EU Competition Law, which deal with more detailed questions of EU Business and Commercial Law. Each of the six electives consists of 700 minutes of teaching and a corresponding site visit, for example to the European Court of Justice (Luxembourg) or the European Central Bank (Frankfurt). A written examination completes the progamme. The entire course is worth four ECTS credit points and each elective a further two ECTS. Registration deadline is 6 May 2013.
