Europäische Akademie Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler successfully certified for Quality Management System
Director Prof. Dr. Petra Ahrweiler: “This will further enhance our high-quality processes.”
Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, 27 January 2014. – The Europäische Akademie has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 for “Processes of Administration, Public Relations and Project Controlling”. As of 10 January 2014, the independent and accredited certification body LRQA (Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance) verified that the Academy is working in conformity to the standard.
The Partners of the Academy, the Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate and the German Aerospace Center, already congratulated Director Prof. Ahrweiler and her team. Prof. Ahrweiler is convinced: “With this quality management standard we can assure that our administrative services meet our stakeholders’ requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.”
Over the coming years, the Academy will continue to perform audits in order to check the quality management system. Dr. Detlev Bohle, Quality Manager at the Academy: “Measures such as corrective and preventive actions will help to maintain a high quality in all areas of service delivery. Having implemented this system gives us the possibility to follow the high standard of quality assurance measures.”
