CHE and Financial Times University Rankings: Top Position for Master Programs of HHL
Top ratings for HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in the CHE University Ranking as well as in the Financial Times European Business Schools 2014 Ranking.
The Master in Management (M.Sc.) program of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management holds top positions in all aspects in the CHE University Ranking for consecutive Master programs of the business administration section which was published yesterday. By its own account, it is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking, assessing the course offer, the possibility to complete the program in the given time, the teacher support as well as the overall study situation. This ranking confirms HHL's positive results in the Master-Praxis-Check (Master's Practical Check) within the ranking indicators examined by the CHE Center for Higher Education in May 2014. According to the study, HHL offers the most international Master in Management programs in Germany. The first business school established in the German-speaking part of the world ranks among the top institutions with regard to the criteria "Research Funds", "Dissertations per Professor" as well as "Graduates within Prescribed Period of Study". Consequently, HHL also achieves good results in the categories "Internationally Visible Publications per Researcher" and "Research Reputation".
In addition to the CHE University Ranking, the international media outlet Financial Times confirms HHL's top position in its European Business Schools 2014 Ranking. According to the ranking published today, the Leipzig hotbed for entrepreneurs is among the top 3 business schools in Germany. The Master Program in Management (M.Sc.) of the first business school established in Europe was ranked among the top 10 in Europe.

The CHE University Ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking of higher education institutions in the German-speaking area. CHE examined more than 300 universities and technical universities. In addition to facts about study programs, teaching, equipment, and research, the ranking also includes assessments by students of the study conditions at their universities. While the current issue of the CHE University Ranking includes the basic survey of all universities participating, it also contains assessments of Bachelor and Master programs. About the Financial Times European Business Schools 2014 Ranking
The European Business Schools Ranking by FT is considered to be the most comprehensive and important ranking for Master programs in Europe. It is based on the consolidation of five individual rankings of MBA, Master in Management, Executive MBA as well as open or company-specific on-the-job programs for 2014. The main evaluation criteria are alumni income and career data as well as structure, internationality and research performance of the universities.
The Master Program in General Management (MBA, full-time or part-time) at HHL
The MBA program offered by HHL, which is taught in English, is considered one of the best independently developed programs of this kind in Germany. The proportion of international students in this HHL program is approximately 80 percent, an outstanding figure in comparison to full-time MBA programs globally. Since its introduction in the year 2000, the full-time MBA program has focused on teaching management and leadership skills in a global context. The English-language Master in Management Program (M.Sc.) at HHL was ranked among the top of its kind in Germany according to the latest Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking. The program provides a basis for future management tasks and covers a wide variety of economic topics. Building on a Bachelor's degree in economics, HHL attaches particular importance to teaching soft skills - courses such as Problem Solving & Communication, Negotiation or International Management Competencies represent an inherent part of the training.
