Economist EMBA ranking: Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program ranks sixth worldwide
Vallendar, Germany, 18 May 2015. In the second "Which MBA?" EMBA Ranking published by The Economist, the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program was ranked sixth in the world, moving up by one rank. The joint degree program offered by the Kellogg School of Management and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management was ranked first in Germany and third in Europe.
As Professor Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU, emphasized: "We are very pleased that we have once again succeeded in improving the already high quality of our Executive MBA Program. We are particularly happy that our degree program continues to meet the expectations of our program partici-pants even after graduation."
Aside from its excellent overall rating, the Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program scored particularly high in several categories. For instance, the average graduate of the Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program can look forward to the world's third-best salary development. The program actually ranks second worldwide with regard to graduates' opportunities and subsequent careers. And in terms of alumni networks with global reach, the Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program attains fifth place in an international comparison.
Professor Jürgen Weigand, Academic Director of the Kellogg-WHU Execu-tive MBA Program, is also pleased with the outcome of the survey: "This accomplishment confirms our successful partnership with the Kellogg School of Management, which actually placed among the top six in the world with three independent EMBA programs. Naturally, this result is also an incentive for us to continue systematically improving the quality of our EMBA Program in all areas."
The "Which MBA?" EMBA Ranking for 2015 published by The Economist is based on data provided by universities and program participants alike. The ranking is particularly meaningful because it surveys not only students cur-rently in the program but the last three graduating classes as well. Important criteria in the ranking include the career opportunities that the EMBA degree opens up for participants; the diversity of participants in terms of their inter-nationality, gender and the sectors from which they come; the quality of instruction, program participants and teaching staff; salary and career trends for graduates completing the EMBA program; and the global reach of the alumni network.
