The Berlin International Green Week is for the Julius Kühn Institute an "annual must" to showcase selected areas of its research. You will find our scientists on the fair grounds in hall 23A, the hall of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture - in 2019 featuring the topics "digital vineyard and phenotyping" and the "ecosystem vineyard including pests and diseases" and "new resistant varieties of grapevine" bred at the JKI in Siebeldingen (Palatinate region). Furthermore, in the hall 1.2B, which is dedicated to organic farming and products, the JKI presents the project EcoOrchard, where partners from 9 European countries joined in the effort to increase biodiversity in apple-orchards in the future.
