5th Leuphana Summer School on Sustainable Chemistry
The Myths of Renewables
From 16 to 20 September 2019, Leuphana University of Lüneburg will host the fifth international Summer School on "Sustainable Chemistry and the Myths of Renewables". This year, the attention will be directed to the latest developments in strategies for sustainable chemistry and chemicals management and to renewable resources. Despite all the hopes associated with them, their use is also linked with severe restrictions and other pitfalls. This get-together will be the opportunity to debate the benefits of sustainable chemistry in this field.
The programme includes lectures and group discussions on important aspects of sustainable chemistry and renewable energies. Participants will also be able to exchange knowledge and experience in practical exercises, workshops and excursions. The instructor team includes academics and practitioners as well as experts from various fields of sustainable chemistry, renewable energies and international cooperation.
This forum welcomes university graduates, doctoral students and young professionals in the field of sustainable chemistry. Participation is free of charge. The registration deadline is 16 August 2019.
