Lower Saxony-Scotland Fellowship Programme announced
The European Centre for Advanced Studies (ECAS) announces the next round of calls for proposals for the Lower Saxony – Scotland Tandem Fellowship Programme. The programme is funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK) and organized by ECAS, a joint institution of Leuphana University Lüneburg and the University of Glasgow (Scotland).
Young academics who have completed their PhD within the last 10 years and have an employment contract with a Scottish or Lower Saxonian higher education institution are invited to apply for the program. It offers the opportunity to conduct research in a transnational exchange at the most recognized universities in Lower Saxony and Scotland. The concept is that two researchers from both regions form a tandem and work on a joint project. Short-term stays of at least one to six months in the partner region are funded with 1,200 EUR per person and month.
Applications can be submitted until May 15, 2022. Details on the programme and application process, as well as a list of participating institutions, are available here:
For further information, ECAS can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or at the Leuphana Central Building (in rooms 143, 144 and 145).
