We at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Erfurt were the proud host of students, social work professionals, educators, and researchers from around the world to share insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to tackle social issues. The diverse range of countries represented includes participants from Austria, Bosnia, Germany, India, Israel, Poland, Slovenia, and Ukraine. The 70 participants engaged in a series of workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences.

The ISWD works to advocate for the need for global dialogue in protecting and promoting social justice, human rights, and the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. It serves as a platform for recognizing the invaluable contributions of social workers, who tirelessly work to uplift vulnerable populations and advocate for social justice, and it highlights the need for continued support, resources, and recognition for the profession.

We thank all the participants, speakers, panelists and moderators for their invaluable insights and active engagement to make this event a grand success.
