Apply by September 15: Medical research grant in the amount of 210,000 euros
The current application deadline for the 2024 Young Career Development Award of the Hamburg Jung Foundation for Science and Research is September 15, 2023. The prize, endowed with 210,000 euros, is awarded annually to young physicians who, after at least two years of scientific research, preferably abroad, would like to conduct in-depth research at a German clinic and at the same time aspire to clinical training as a specialist.
The support is paid out over a period of three years, an application is easy and barrier-free online possible - for this the curriculum vitae, an annotated publication list as well as a project outline must be uploaded on the website of the Jung Foundation. The best applicants will then be invited to a personal interview in Hamburg in mid-November. The award winner will then be honored at an award ceremony in May 2024 and will have the opportunity to present his/her research results at the 4th Jung Symposium "Excellent Medicine 2024". More information is available at www.jung-stiftung.de.
The Jung Foundation for Science and Research, which is committed to national, international and interdisciplinary progress in human medicine, has been awarding the Jung Prize for Medicine since 2006, thus strengthening Germany as a center of science. With a total sum of 540,000 euros, the three prizes are among the highest medical awards in Europe.
