Constructor University to host STEM Day
Constructor University in Bremen will host events in the frame of Bremen STEM Day on November 15th to foster excitement for STEM subjects. The 5th Bremen STEM Day will showcase some of the university’s most important research, such as how cocoa fruit becomes delicious chocolate. Registration is possible until November 3rd.
Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., workshops, lectures, a guided tour of the campus and the biotechnology laboratories characterize the eventful day. There will also be the opportunity to talk to students or trainees of the international university about studying and working at Constructor University. The events will take place in German, the campus tour in English.
In addition to exploring the taste of chocolate, other exciting topics await participants, such as how antibiotics can be extracted from plants, a journey through the solar system with the help of space probes, or how mobile microscopes magnify the world 1000 times. Bremen STEM Day is organized by the MINTforum Bremen in cooperation with the Senator for Science and Ports and the Senator for Children and Education. All offers are aimed at schools, are free of charge and can be booked online.
