Virus based Therapies - from Molecules to Therapeutic Approaches
This meeting is a joint event between the BioPharma Cluster South Germany and the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM). In 2024, we will focus on Virus-based Therapies, highlighting and discussing the status, future opportunities and challenges of these novel and promising therapeutic approaches.
The successful series of joint events between the BioPharma Cluster South Germany and the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM) continues with an event that will cover various aspects of virus-based therapies, ranging from market developments and the current research landscape of virus-based biopharmaceuticals to industrial-scale study cases for their production and clinical application.
The meeting aims to highlights the perspectives from both, academia and industry on the viral vector landscape and biology and case studies. A panel discussion highlights aspects of the novel national Strategy for gene and cell therapies. At the event, all participants will be offered the opportunity for a vivid exchange and networking with speakers and other experts.The meeting is aimed at researchers, developers and engineers from industry and academia, young scientists, physicians and anyone interested in this rapidly growing therapeutic field.
The meeting takes place on November 29th at the Stadthaus Ulm starts at 12:00 and ends at 20:30.
