World Health Summit 2024: Presentation of the WHO Investment Round as Signature Event
Chancellor Scholz, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros, Bill Gates at the most important international forum on global health.
On Sunday, the World Health Summit, the leading international forum for global health, will begin in Berlin. The central event of the three-day conference is the largest international pledging moment so far for the WHO Investment Round. The new financing instrument is intended to help the WHO fulfill its mandate of 'Health for All.' Among the confirmed speakers are Chancellor Olaf Scholz, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Bill Gates, Chair of the Gates Foundation and
John-Arne Røttingen, CEO of Wellcome Trust. Numerous health ministers from various countries, including Germany, Norway, and France, are also expected to attend.
The presentation of the WHO Investment Round “All for Health, Health for All: Signature Event for the WHO Investment Round” will take place on Monday, October 14, at 6:00 PM CEST. The event is open to the press, and will be livestreamed on https://www.worldhealthsummit.org.

More than 3,000 participants and speakers from science, the private sector, politics, civil society, and international organizations from around the world are expected to attend the World Health Summit 2024 under the theme "Building Trust for a Healthier World." On the agenda are topics such as health equity, climate change, pandemic threats, Mpox, and antimicrobial resistance.

Information on the Signature Event, Monday, October 14, 6:00 PM CEST:
Please arrive on-site 60 minutes before the event.
Photo option at 5:50 PM: Interested media representatives must have taken their position in the designated area by no later than 5:40 PM.
Event at 6:00 PM in the Rudolph Virchow Hall: Admission begins at 5:15 PM, TV teams and photographers should have taken their place on the press podium by 5:45 PM. (Special regulation for participants of the photo option before the event.)
Writers have free seating outside the designated area.
