TUM placed 12th in Global Employability Ranking
Companies around the world consider graduates of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) to be exceptionally well qualified. This is shown by the Global University Employability Ranking, in which TUM has moved up to 12th place. In Europe, it is number four following the universities in Cambridge and Oxford and ETH Zurich.
The ranking indicates the quality of graduates from the point of view of employers. For the latest edition, about 16,000 managers in 40 countries who recruit internationally were surveyed. They work in a wide range of industries and with companies of various sizes. The ranking, commissioned annually by the British magazine Times Higher Education (THE), is compiled by the French management consulting firm Emerging.
TUM has placed among the world’s best universities for years. It currently ranks 12th overall and rounds out the leading quartet in Europe alongside the University of Oxford (3rd), the University of Cambridge (4th) and ETH Zurich (9th).
The outstanding preparation of students provided by TUM for the digital economy was also highlighted by the latest Digital Leaders in Higher Education rankings, where TUM ranks 8th worldwide.
The students themselves are also highly satisfied with the study conditions. In the most recent CHE University Rankings, TUM received excellent grades from students in many different subject areas.
